Nauru's seat of government sits at Yaren, but the country's largest settlement is Arijejen, elsewhere on the island. This split between administrative and population centers runs alongside a cluster of smaller settlements—Denigomodu, Menen, Yangor, Boe, Baiti, Ronave, Arenibek, Arubo, Anabar, Anibare, Uaboe, and Ijuw—scattered around Nauru's limited land area, each contributing modestly to the island's overall settlement pattern.
