Twinned with Xiamen

3 of 11 in this atlas

Xiamen maintains formal twinning agreements with three municipalities included in this atlas: Dushanbe in Tajikistan, İzmir in Turkey, and Surabaya in Indonesia. Each of these pairings is recorded as mutual, meaning both cities name one another as a twin rather than the recognition running in a single direction, as sometimes occurs in such arrangements between municipalities.
