Twinned with Bandar Seri Begawan
2 of 2 in this atlas
Bandar Seri Begawan holds two formal town-twinning links in this atlas. Its pairing with Nanjing, China, is confirmed by both sides, while the link to Pyongyang, North Korea, appears only from Bandar Seri Begawan's side, with no reciprocal naming recorded from the North Korean capital. Together the two cases show the mixed, sometimes uneven nature of such declared partnerships.

1 of these do not list Bandar Seri Begawan back. Twinning is declared independently by each municipality, so one-sided pairs are common — and usually more interesting than the mutual ones.
