Twinned with Isfahan
14 of 19 in this atlas
Isfahan maintains formal town-twinning links across a wide geographic spread, from Barcelona and Saint Petersburg in Europe to Xi'an and Kuala Lumpur in Asia, Dakar in Africa, and Maracaibo in South America. Nearly all of these pairings are mutual, with each side naming Isfahan in return. The one exception is Istanbul, which does not list Isfahan among its own twin cities.
